1. Shubman Gill

2. Faf du Plessis
The RCB skipper was in terrific form this edition. In just 14 innings, he scored 730 runs with the help of 8 half-centuries. Scoring over 50 runs in 8 out of 14 knocks is simply extraordinary. Faf was the top run-scorer of IPL 2023 till the end of the league stage. His average and strike rate in IPL 2023 were 56.15 and 153.78, respectively. The South African played 475 balls to pick 60 boundaries and 36 maximums.
3. Devon Conway
The New Zealand batsman didn’t get much limelight this season, but he was scoring runs consistently. He scored 672 runs in 15 innings with an average of 51.69. Conway struck at 139.7 and got 6 scores of over 50. The leftie had the highest score of 92*. After facing 481 deliveries, Devon Conway plundered 77 fours and 18 sixes.
4. Virat Kohli
After 3 struggling seasons, Virat Kohli made a grand return to form by becoming the 4th top run-scorer of IPL 2023. He started the competition by hitting a match-winning half-century in a chase. In the middle stage of the league phase, he was struggling with his strike rate. But he bounced back brilliantly again.
In RCB’s second-last group game, they needed a win to boost their playoff chances. They were asked to chase down 187 by the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Kohli scored a well-calculated ton to give his team an easy win. Bangalore’s last match of the group phase was against Gujarat Titans, and a win would have seen them through. Virat smashed another superb hundred, but RCB bowlers failed to defend 198 and were knocked out of the tournament.
The former Bangalore captain made 639 runs in 14 outings with the bat. His average and strike rate were 53.25 and 139.82, respectively. Along with two centuries, he got 6 fifties as well. Virat faced 457 balls in IPL 2023 and picked 65 fours and 16 maximums.
5. Yashasvi Jaiswal
If we talk about batsmen, Yashasvi Jaiswal was undoubtedly the find of this season. He has been around for a while, but his true potential was unleashed in 2023. The Rajasthan opener piled up 625 runs while averaging 48.07. He scored 5 half-centuries in 14 knocks and also got his maiden IPL hundred.
But the most impressive thing about him was his blazing strike rate of 163.61. He was unstoppable in the powerplay and even overshadowed his opening partner, Jos Butler. In 382 deliveries, Yashasvi Jaiswal hammered 82 boundaries and 26 sixes. 82 fours were the second-most by a batsman in IPL 2023.
6. Suryakumar Yadav
SKY had a struggling 2023 before the IPL. He also didn’t have the best of starts in the league. In his first 5 outings, he managed just 66 runs while facing 47 balls.
In the 6th match, Surya smashed 57 off 26, and it turned the tables for him. He ended up with 605 runs at an average of 43.21 and a punishing strike rate of 181.3. His 16 innings brought 5 half-centuries and a century. SKY faced 334 balls in IPL 16 to pick 65 fours and 28 sixes.
7. Ruturaj Gaikwad
CSK’s opener had another successful season with 590 runs in 15 innings. He averaged 42.14 during the season and struck at 147.5. Gaikwad got four 50+ scores with a best of 92. In 400 deliveries, the opener smashed 46 fours and 30 sixes.
8. David Warner
David Warner was Delhi Capitals’ top run-scorer in IPL 2023. The veteran scored 6 half-centuries in 14 innings. At an average of 36.85 and a strike rate of 131.63, he made 516 runs. These are 233 more than the runs scored by Delhi’s 2nd highest run-getter of IPL 2023. Warner hammered 69 fours and 10 sixes in 392 balls.
9. Rinku Singh
What’s the first thing that came to your mind after reading this name? Those 5 sixes he smashed against Yash Dayal, right? That match-winning effort from him was certainly the highlight of the season. Rinku Singh was the top-run scorer of IPL 2023 for the Kolkata Knight Riders.
His 474 runs came at a brilliant average of 59.25. His strike rate was 149.52 as he won KKR several matches. Rinku Singh had 4 fifties in 14 matches. He hammered 31 fours and 29 sixes while facing 317 balls.
10. Ishan Kishan
Ishan Kishan was the 10th top-run scorer of IPL 2023. Mumbai’s opener amassed 454 runs in 15 innings. His average and strike rate were 30.26 and 142.76, respectively. Ishan had 3 scores of more than 50 runs with a best of 75. After facing 318 deliveries, he had 54 boundaries and 18 maximums to his name.
