Lahore Qalandars 198 for 6 (Raza 32(↑20%) & 1/6, Shaheen 3/23(↑14%)) beat Quetta Gladiators 135 for 8 (Roy 48, Hasnain 1/32) by 63 runs.

 

The Qalandars got off to a flying start after being invited to bat. The opening partnership of 49 runs in 4.3 overs laid a solid foundation for them. Both openers fell in quick succession as Fakhar Zaman(↑2%) scored 22(14) and Tahir Baig got 31(15). Then, Kamran Ghulam and Shai Hope formed a 56-run partnership in 6 overs. Shai Hope’s 32-ball 47 was followed by Hussain Talat’s 26 off 13. Then, Sikandar Raza(↑20%) smashed 32 off 16 to power Qalandars to 198 for 6.

Shaheen Shah Afridi(↑14%) sent Abdul Bangalzai packing in the first over for a golden duck. Then, Martin Guptill (↓9%) and Jason Roy stayed together for 6 overs to score 47 runs. Roy smashed 3 sixes in Haris Rauf’s first over. Guptil fell to David Wiese(↑4%), and Rashid Khan(↑14%) cleaned Jason Roy up for a well-made 48 off 30. From that point, Quetta never stayed in the game and could only get to 135 for 8 in 20 overs. Shaheen and Wiese bagged 3 wickets each.

Sikandar Raza(↑20%) earned a price raise of 20.8 SPQs. Shaheen and Rashid also got their price up by 13.4 and 11.55 SPQs, respectively. Naseem  Shah’s(↓24%) dreadful spell made him lose 23.2 SPQs from his price. The price of Mohammad Nawaz(↓93%) and Iftikhar  Ahmed(↓16%) went down by 19.4 and 18 SPQs, respectively.
