The chase started in a catastrophic manner for the Capitals as they lost 3 wickets for just 2 runs. David Warner and Abishek Porel also didn’t hang on for long, and the scorecard read 53 for 5 after 8.5 overs. Manish Pandey was the only notable performer in Delhi’s batting order with a score of 50 off 38. Bangalore won the match by 23 runs. Match 21: Lucknow Super Giants vs. Punjab Kings

In the absence of Shikhar Dhawan(↓5.46%), Sam Curran(↓2.47%) was leading the Punjab side. He won the toss and opted to chase. Lucknow had a fine powerplay as they picked up 49 runs without losing a wicket. But the spinners tightened the screws, and the run rate dropped down. The next 8 overs brought just 62 runs and 4 wickets. KL Rahul(↑6.83%) was the lone warrior for Lucknow with an absorbing knock of 74(56). On the other hand, Mustafizur Rahman’s (↓50.91%) price dropped by ₹32.96.
